In our research, we emphasize a systems-thinking approach, utilizing qualitative and quantitative methods to explore the social dimensions and interactions within agri-food systems. We use transformative research to explore the manifold interactions and interdependencies among social, cultural and ecological entities and spheres that shape these systems, with the aim of facilitating transitions towards sustainability in production, processing, use and consumption. We are dedicated to engaged social science, actively collaborating with practitioners and stakeholders to co-design and implement solutions to real-world problems. Our work spans across different spatial and organizational scales, including land-use and food systems and knowledge and innovation systems.
